WVCST ventures into businessWednesday, 15 April 2009The Western Visayas College of Science and Technology is venturing on a 2.612 million pesos investment program with Php 1,328,000 scheduled for the physical infrastructure.
The proposed Entrepreneurial Lane for Cyber Café and IT Services is envisioned to cater to the growing demands in the field of Information and Communication Technology. It will provide affordable, dependable, and reliable ICT services. The structure is strategically located at the main campus fronting the TVEP Building along Burgos Street, La Paz, Iloilo City. This initiative is in response to the government’s call that state universities and colleges should formulate business plans as alternative ways to come up with additional resources to augment the yearly allocation.

Ibañez, Associate Professor II of this college passed the TESDA Assessment on Commercial Cooking and Baking/Pastry Reproduction NC II on October 19 and 27, 2008 at Passi Trade School, Passi City.
