In the recently concluded Miss WVCST Beauty Pageant 2009, Rosechelle Joy A. de la Cruz representing Miss Technology won the title. The event was held last September 2, 2009 in line with the 104th Foundation Week celebration. Miss de la Cruz garnered other special awards such as Best in Playsuit, Best in Denim Wear, Miss Talent, and Best in Gown.

Miss Chrisma Ven Docilidad of the College of Arts and Sciences won the 1st Runner-up and Best in Micro Mini titles. Lady Smith of the College of Engineering and Architecture was Best in Interview and 2nd Runner-up. Dima Jaspe representing the College of Education won the 3rd Runner-up place.

The traditional search was chaired by Mr. Bonnie S. Arenal with Mrs. Maureen Nettie N. Linan, Dr. Merlinda T. Tucar, Mrs. Evelyn S. Dominguez and Miss Anna Mae Corio as members. The pageant was sponsored by the college administration and the student government.(Bonnie S. Arenal)
